Scott discovered Little Washington sailing into the downtown harbor, and immediately felt at home in the beautiful inner banks and Washington's waterfront district. An Advocate of second story downtown residential development and adaptive reuse of exsisting structures, he purchased the former Washington fire station and dance hall and developed three residential loft condominiums. Scott has been active in community and charitable activities, serving on the board of Downtown Washington on the Waterfront, a member of the Beaufort County Choral Society, a founding member of the Downtown Building and Property Owners Association and numberous civic committees.
